ENERGY STAR® Unit Registration Fees*

There are two methods of attaining the ENERGY STAR for New Homes qualification.

Prescriptive Standard based on the Builder Option Package (BOP) for single detached homes

$500.00 + GST  includes: two (2) on-site inspections, ENERGY STAR unit registration & label

$150.00 + GST for each additional inspection

Performance Standard for multi-unit, slab-on-grade, walk-out basements or electrically-heated units (such as geothermal systems)

$750.00 + GST  includes: plan analysis, two (2) on-site inspections, ENERGY STAR unit registration & label, EnerGuide for New Homes rating label

$150.00 + GST for each additional inspection
